Parka in a thermo reflective fabric, which merges two of Stone Island’s most avant-garde research paths. It explores the interaction between light refraction and thermo sensitivity technologies. The resins used to coat the nylon substrate host both the glass microspheres allowing fabric refraction and the micro-encapsulated pigments modifying the passage of light and thus enabling colour changes in relation to temperature. The final effect is an organic and dynamic interaction of light and colour. The garments in THERMO REFLECTIVE interact and morph with the movements of the wearer. The coating of this fabric makes it water and wind resistant.
Two diagonal pockets with flap and snap fastening topped by two long vertical pockets, edged in cotton tape and with snap fasteners. Inner cuffs in ribbed jersey. Cotton lining quilted to a polyester padding. Hood lined in cotton terry with visor lined in felt. Zip and button fastening.
